Group product pricing

If you target differentiated segments of your shoppers―wholesalers, VIP shoppers, etc.―then you must know that they shop differently and expect different Magento pricing offers.

The Customer Group Price Magento 2 extension helps diversify customer prices for multiple segments of your shoppers.

You’ll be able to either display a crossed discounted price to a particular consumer group or replace regular values with a special offer completely. The price extension for Magento allows you to:

Assign individual Magento pricing to each separate consumer group
Set different Magento prices to custom-created product catalogs, such as retailers, VIPs, etc
Benefit from group customer prices for different product types: simple, configurable, group, etc
Use group values in any cart/catalog/price rules/taxes/gift cards automatically

Note that the Customer Price extension allows you to completely replace the default product price, i.e., unlike in default Magento 2, there will be no crossed regular price displayed as a special price.

Personal customer discounts

Did you know that 72% of consumers expect companies to offer personalized discounts and customer prices based on the specific products or services they’ve already purchased?

The Customer Price extension is a distinct price extension example to help you increase retention and loyalty by offering one-off personalized coupon codes to specific singled-out clients. In the dedicated “Customers” tab, you will be able to assign personalized discounts:

Can I specify a customer special price to run promotions for specific customers or all customers of a specific group?

You can set special prices for certain customers or all customers of a specific group.

What is the difference between Magento 2 default “Customer Group Prices” and the Mageworx “Group Prices” functionality?

The default “Customer Group Prices” equals tier pricing, which allows you to set different prices for different product quantities. You can also enable these offers for specific customer groups. However, these prices do not overwrite a product’s main price on the front-end but just add the tier prices table. The Mageworx “Group Prices” enables you to replace the default product price completely anywhere on the front-end.

Why would I need customer price and group price functionalities if I can set a product special price to change a product price?

The main difference is that our extension allows you to assign various prices for specific customers or customer groups. Moreover, the prices set in our extension completely overwrite the ones on the front-end. Thus, the customers won’t see the original prices on the front-end, and you’ll avoid any confusion.

Can I use this extension to build the wholesale catalogs with separate prices?

Yes, sure. You can simply add a new customer group for your wholesale customers and set separate prices for all your products for this group.

Can I increase or decrease all prices for a certain customer group in bulk?

You can achieve this quickly. Add a surcharge or a discount for group prices in our extension, i.e., if you specify +10% as a customer group price for an entire customer group, all product prices for this group will increase by 10%.

What product types does the Customer Group Prices in Magento 2 support?

Being one of the unique Add Price extensions available on the market, it supports any product type, i.e., simple, configurable, grouped, etc.

Can I massively update customer prices with the help of your extension?

Sure, this can be achieved using a CSV file. The sample file is available within the corresponding tab in the admin panel.

I want to migrate my customer prices from Magento 1. Can your extension help?

Yes, it enables you to migrate customer prices from Magento 1 to Magento 2 and easily copy/move prices between Magento 2 staging and live stores.

Can I generate a discount coupon for a specific customer?

The individual promotion functionality allows you to assign discount coupons to specific customers. It means that you can generate personal discount coupons for your loyal customers now.

Will the customer prices or customer group prices be correctly shown in the layered navigation?

Yes, our extension supports Magento 2 default layered navigation filters.

Will the customer prices or customer group prices be correctly shown in search results?

Yes, our extension supports Magento 2 default search results pages.

Will the customer prices or customer group prices be correctly shown for the products while creating new orders from the back-end?
